NEW PROSPECTS OF ARMENIAN-RUSSIAN COOPERATION OPEN IN MILITARY-TECHNICAL SPHERE

Secretary of National Security Council Arthur Baghdasaryan received
the delegation, led by Deputy Director of the Federal Service for
Military-Technical Cooperation of Russia (FSMTC) Konstantin Biryulin.

Press service of National Security Council told Armenpress that
the parties noted with gratification that the process of setting up
Armenian-Russian joint ventures intended by the 2010 Agreement on
Cooperation between Armenia and Russia in Military-Technical Sphere
is proceeding normally.

Secretary of National Security Council Arthur Baghdasaryan
expressed gratification on the process of the Armenian-Russian
cooperation in military-technical sphere, pointing out the need for
expansion of mutually integration opportunities of Armenian-Russian
military-technical enterprises.

Various issues on military-technical cooperation between the two
countries were discussed. In addition, the interlocutors discussed
the opportunity of implementation of a number of new programs in the
sphere of military-technical cooperation.

During the meeting Konstantin Biryulin and Armenian Deputy Defense
Minister A. Mirzabekyan presented the results of the committee’s
sitting.
