The newspaper reports that, at his meeting with his Russian
counterpart, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan asked him for
a US $2b credit.
His request may soon be satisfied by means of EurAsEC, but with only
US $1b to be allocated.
The Armenian premier explained that Armenia needs the funds for
implementing all-important projects, such as the construction of the
North-South highway and infrastructure development.
The newspaper recalls that the EurAsEC created a US $10bn fund.
Belarus recently asked for US $3bn, but its request was not fully
satisfied. The country received part of the funds, with the rest
promised for the future.
