“In the Armenian-Turkish relations I’m mostly interested in the fact
that the two neighbor countries needed to do something and they’ve
done it. The obstacles have been verified, and this is an achievement.

It’s difficult to do analysis 90 years later,” said Lernik Aleksanyan,
a member of NA Republican faction, in a meeting with the journalists.

According to the official the person concerned about the problems of
Armenian nation should have done it:

“Surely, some parties were interested, for instance, the United
States. But finally, the Armenian-Turkish relations should put on
diplomatic railroads.”

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
