Great Armenian essay writer, translator and renowned intellectual
Karpis Surenyan has passed away after a short but serious disease at
age 86, Azg newspaper reported.
An earnest, principled and reserved personality and an author of
more than 15 books, Surenyan went through hard times in his life,
leaving a huge and permanent literary legacy to younger generations.
We extends our condolences to Surenyan’s family and friends.
The funerals ceremony is due at Yerevan’s St Hovhannes church at 6:00
pm tomorrow.
