ARTSAKH’S LIBERATED TERRITORIES ARE BEING PARTIALLY RESETTLED – KARABAKH PM

YEREVAN. – From the liberated territories, the Kashatagh and Shahumyan
regions are being actively resettled, Artsakh’s (Nagorno-Karabakh
Republic; NKR) PM Ara Harutyunyan stated during a briefing with news
reporters on Wednesday.
In his words, those regions now have the minimum necessary
infrastructures-schools, roads, residential houses-while other
regions will be resettled if necessary funding is provided. Until
then, however, and to preserve the territories, “a combat-ready army
and a will are in need, and all this exists in Artsakh,” NKR PM noted.
Reflecting on Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe
(OSCE) Minsk Group Co-Chairs’ upcoming visit, Ara Harutyunyan said
Artsakh has nothing new to say. “We are waiting as to when they would
agree to our proposals.”
