COMMUNICATION SERVICES SHOW 6.8% INCREASE IN ARMENIA

This August, AMD 15,932.2m (about US $42,828.5 thousand) worth
communication services were rendered in Armenia – a 6.8% increase in
terms of compared prices as compared with last August.
Armenia’s Statistical Service reports AMD 236.9m worth radio
broadcasting – a 4.6% decrease as compared with last August and
a 1.5% decrease as compared with this July. Also, AMD 666.1m TV
broadcasting was reported – a 15.9% decrease as compared with last
August, and a 19.6% decrease as compared with this July. The receipts
from telecommunication services totaled AMD 15,029.2m – an increase
of 6.6% and 3.1% respectively.
