PARIS. – Despite all falsifications of the history we have to admit
that Armenian people suffered Genocide. Not only we must admit
the Armenian Genocide, we must ban its denial, said Mayor of Paris
Bertrand Delanoe at the meeting with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan,
Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent reports from Paris.
Referring to the relations between the two capitals, the Mayor said
that during his visit to Yerevan in the framework of General Conference
of the International Association of Francophone Mayors the two capitals
will be sign a cooperation agreement, which will be a good incentive
for development of relations between Yerevan and Paris.
Representatives of Paris Armenian Community also attended the meeting.
Earlier Armenian News – NEWS.am reported that General Conference of the
International Association of Francophone Mayors will be held in Yerevan
on October 25-26. The event will bring together more than 200 Mayors.
