WOMAN COMMITS SUICIDE, CHILDREN ATTEMPT TO FOLLOW SUIT IN DILIJAN

A woman has committed a suicide, while her two children attempted to
follow suit in the Armenian resort town of Dilijan.
The police found out that Gayane Mnatsakanyan hanged herself in the
corridor of her house at around midnight on September 25.
Following her death, Mnatsakanyan’s M. Martirosyan, 23, and her son E.
Martirosyan, also wanted to put an end to their lives by cutting
their veins.
The children were hospitalized and their lives are not at risk now,
doctors said.
No traces of violation were found on the body of Gayane Mnatsakanyan.
The police found out a few pictures of Jesus Christ with broken frames
in the rooms – a sign that the suicide might have been religiously
motivated.
A criminal case has been lodged and an investigation is underway to
find out the details of the incident.
