National Cooperation Fund designs `Armenian YouTube’

National Cooperation Fund (NCF) is building an online video hosting
and search engine that appears to be the Armenian version of the
social networking site YouTube.

Speaking to Tert.am, the NCF Executive Director Arshak Sadoyan said
that, it will be a kind of archive that will host the TV and radio
programs of Armenian TV and radio channels, including those aired in
the regions.

The portal will contribute to the development of internet TV and radio
in Armenia, Sadoyan added.

Further, he said that the new website will host also an internet press
club where some 2,500 outstanding personalities – who have already
been chosen – will be invited to express their opinions on various
issues on a website called e-sociology.

Moreover, during online conferences they will be able to answer the
questions of six participants at once.
