SOME 3,567 PEOPLE IN NAGORNO-KARABAKH LOOK FOR JOBS

STEPANAKERT, September 19. / ARKA /. In early September some 3,567
people in Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) were registered officially
as jobless, NKR social security ministry said in a statement posted
on its official website.

According to the statement, 3,365 were women. The statement said the
number of registered jobless dropped by 122 from a year earlier.

Some 95% of registered jobless people were awarded unemployed status,
but only 486 received unemployment benefits.

The ministry said local employment centers found jobs for 77 people,
of whom 66 were women.
