On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Nagorno-Karabakh’s
independence President Bako Sahakyan signed a decree on awarding
benefactors who contributed to the country’s strengthening in the
past post-independence period.
According to a press release by the Nagorno-Karabakh presidential
office, Russia-based Armenian philanthropist Aram Izmailyan, and the
renovator of the St Ghazanchetsots Church of Shoushi, Volodya Babayan
were honored with a Gratitude Medal.
