ARMENIAN PUBLIC COUNCIL TO SIGN COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH ITS CHINESE COUNTERPART

YEREVAN. – A delegation from China Economic and Social Council (CESC)
will arrive in Armenia, on September 17, for a 2-day visit. Within
the framework of the visit, CESC will sign a cooperation agreement
with the Public Council of Armenia.

The Chinese delegation members will have meetings with Armenian PM
Tigran Sargsyan and Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II, will
see the treasures of the Holy See of St. Etchmiadzin, and visit
Armenia’s history museums, and Garni Temple and Geghard Monastery,
Armenian Public Council told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

On the second day if its visit to Armenia, the Chinese delegation
will pay visits to the Armenian Genocide Memorial and Synopsys Armenia
IT company.

The accordance on CESC’s visit to Armenia was reached during general
assembly of the International Association of Economic and Social
Councils and Similar Institutions (AICESIS), which was held in Rome
in July.

CESC has 5 million members and its chairman is member of the Chinese
politburo.
