WORLD BANK TO INVEST IN ROAD CONSTRUCTION IN ARMENIA

YEREVAN. – World Bank will invest in construction of roads in Armenian
Shirak region. Part of the works is already in progress. Competition
between companies on construction has not started yet.

The World Bank invested AMD 1.1 billion ($3 million) in implementation
of the project. The continuation of the program depends on the results
and investments. Construction works are expected to be completed at
the end of December 2011.
