Armenian Weightlifter Wins World Champion’s Title

ARMENIAN WEIGHTLIFTER WINS WORLD CHAMPION’S TITLE

In the Junior World Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship held in
Bucharest, Romania, Armenian weightlifter Rafik Manukyan won the
world champion’s title.

In the semi-quarter, the Armenian sportsmen gained advantage over
Italy’s Kiro Russo and Austria’s Michael Wagner. In the quarter final,
he held a victory over Turkey’s Ismail Kocaslan, the Armenian sports
website Armsport.am reported.

Poland’s Arkadiush Kulinits qualified for the semi-final.

In the final round, the Manukyan celebrated his victory over Zurab
Dutanishvili (0:2, 3:0. 4:2).

Radik Mkrtchayan (wc 50 kg) won a bronze medal.

The championship matches will continue tomorrow.
