ARMENIA WILL CONTINUE SEARCHING URANIUM DEPOSITS

YEREVAN. – Studies on search of uranium deposits will continue for 2-3
years in Armenia, Armenian Minister of Energy and Natural Recourses
Armen Movsisyan told at a press conference.

The Minister stated that currently exploration works are allowed
only in the territory of Syunik region. In case additional uranium
deposits are found in Armenia, 5-6 types of investigations should be
carried out before the actual process of drilling.
