CABINET APPROVES ARAM SIMONYAN AS RECTOR OF YEREVAN STATE UNIVERSITY

At its meeting on Thursday, the Armenian cabinet approved Aram
Simonyan’s election as the rector of the Yerevan State University.
Simonyan, who holds a PhD degree in History, will serve for five
more years.
The YSU rector’s election was held on June 21. No other candidate
was nominated.
