A monument to well-known Armenian benefactor Alexander Mantashyants
(Mantashev) will be erected in Yerevan.

According to the press service of Yerevan Mayor’s Office, the Arts
Council of Yerevan Mayor’s Office during its first meeting in 2011
approved a proposal to erect a monument to the famous benefactor.

The council decided to install the monument in Abovian street in the
vicinity of Arno Babajanyan Concert Hall built with Mantashev’s funds.
