YEREVAN. Armenia recognizes 12 points for crossing the state border
for railway, road, air and other communications. The decision will
be discussed during May 12 governmental session.

Six of these points are on the Armenian-Georgian border. They are
“Bavra” (Ninotsminda), “Gogavan” (Guguti), “Privolnoye” (Akhkepri),
“Ayrum” (Sadakhlo), “Jiliza” (Operti) and “Bagratashen” (Sadakhlo).

There are two points on the Armenian-Turkish border, namely “Margara”
(Alican) and “Ahurik” (Akyaka), but they do not operate. Another
checkpoint “Agarak” (Norduz) operates on the border with Iran.

Armenia’s airports Zvartnots, Erebuni and Gyumri also have their
border-crossing points.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
