ANCA: SHUSHI LIBERATION MAJOR WATERSHED IN MODERN ARMENIAN HISTORY

Armenian Americans join today with veterans of the Shushi liberation
battle, said the Executive Director of the Armenian National Committee
of America (ANCA).
“We join with the families of the brave souls who lost their lives
in marking both a great turning point in Artsakh’s struggle for
self-determination and a major watershed in modern Armenian history,”
Aram Hamparian told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.
Shushi, the ancient capital of Arstakh, was liberated on May 9, 1992.
