Earthquake rocks Nagorno-Karabakh, Armenia
A magnitude 4.5 earthquake rocked Nagorno-Karabakh and the southern
part of Armenia, the Armenian National Seismic Service has reported.
“A magnitude 4.5 earthquake was registered 30 kilometers southeast of
the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Gadrut at 1:52 p.m. local time on March
25. The quake magnitude in the epicenter was 6,” it said.
The magnitude in the Nagorno-Karabakh towns of Gadrut and Martuni was
4, and that in Stepanakert and the southeastern Armenian town of Kapan
3, it said.
No reports on possible destruction or casualties were immediately available.
