ArmInfo. Personal exhibition of famous painter Ruben Gabrielyan’s
works opened in Yerevan on Thursday.

Ruben Gabrielyan told ArmInfo he tried to express his attitude to
the current developments in the world in his paintings.

“I have been a pugnacious fellow all my life and I cannot take easy
what is taking place in the world. I feel pain. I do not like speaking
much and prefer expressing my feeling and thoughts and everything that
makes me indignant through painting,” he said. The painter outlined
that he touched upon the Bible in his works deliberately.

“The Bible says everything what is taking place and what will take
place, but people, unfortunately, do not see much. I hope at least
one of those who will visit my exhibition will take with him what I
wanted to say in my paintings,” Ruben Gabrielyan said.

R. Gabrielyan exhibited 41 paintings. The exhibition will be open
till Dec 1. He admitted that the painting “Democracy” reflects his
concerns about the developments in the world more precisely.

“It tells everything”, he briefed.
