YEREVAN, OCTOBER 13, ARMENPRESS: Animators Zdislaw Kudla and Anjey
Orzechowsky, who arrived in Armenia within the framework of the 6th
International Junior Film Festival, visited today the Tsitsernakaberd
(Swallow’s Fortress) memorial, built in honor of the memory of the
victims of the Armenian Genocide, committed 1915 by Ottoman Turkey
shares the pain of Armenia, as the Polish nation has experienced an
atrocity of genocide.

‘I really do not understand how one can avoid responsibility for
killing a nation,’ he said. He added that even cartoons can teach
children to honor people and help exclude killings. Anjey Orzechowsky
said he thinks states must not have any frontiers, so that nations
could move freely and make friendship. The animation directors said
they admire the beauty of Yerevan; though ‘there is another beauty,
which is more attractive – the astounding charm of Armenian girls’.
