ONE OF THE VANDALS INVOLVED IN BREAKING OF ARMENIAN GRAVESTONES IN NOVOROSSIYSK DETAINED

ArmInfo. One of the vandals involved in breaking of Armenian
gravestones in Novorossiysk has been detained.
According to Yerkramas newspapers, which mainly covers the life of
local Armenians in Novorossiysk, at 23 July night some unidentified
people have broken down gravestones of some 50 graves most of which
belong to Armenian nationals.
The head of Novorossiysk Police set up a special investigation and
operative group to release the crimes. One of the suspected persons
was detained in the course of the operative events and confessed and
pointed at accessaries to the crimes. The details of the criminal
cases are made public because of the interests of investigation.
