expediency otherwise it would take place long ago, analyst Igor
Muradyan told media no Thursday.

“Negotiations on sale of S-300 were launched yet before the meeting of

conditions to their sale, except the price – 300 million dollars,
which is rather high. Moscow set no conditions to their application.
However, when selling arms to Korea, Moscow set a condition that the
system must not be deployed on the border with Vietnam. All this takes
place against the background of Moscow’s efforts to present itself as
a country concerned about regional security,” he said. The analyst
said that the point is what will follow the sale of 2 divisions of
S-300 to Azerbaijan. That country is trying to feel out the situation
and the reaction of Iran.
