Karabakh MP: The Hague Court’s decision on Kosovo is a victory over
the right to territorial integrity

ArmInfo. The Hague Court’s decision on Kosovo has demonstrated that
the nations’ right to self-determination is prevailing over
territorial integrity, which is already an out-of-date principle in
XXI century, Armen Sargsyan, Karabakh MP from ARF Dashnaktsutyun
faction, told journalists.
“In the context of recognition of the NKR independence, we do not face
the task of applying to the International Court of Justice, as the
Hague Court has already fixed for all unrecognized states that the
nations’ rights to self-determination is a priority principle”,- said
the MP. He also pointed out that in this context, having taken into
consideration yesterday’s verdict of the International Court of
Justice, the Armenian parliament may start the process of
international recognition of the NKR.
