25% of women in Armenia suffer from agenesia

ArmInfo. “25% of women in Armenia suffer from agenesia. These data
were received after the Armenian Medical Association held a public
opinion poll among the residents of Armenia three year ago”,- said
Nune Asryan, gynecologist of the Sexopathology Convalescent Center, at
today’s press conference in Yerevan.

According to her, agenesia is mostly revealed among 18-35-aged women
in Armenia, and the main reason is considered to be, first and
foremost, improper feeding, daily drains, tiredness, and among men –
the hormonal violations, particularly, because of heavy weight. For
her part, gynecologist of Sante Medical Center, Lilit Kujoyan, said
that hormonal violations are becoming the reason of agenesia among 25%
of the patients; infections are detected among 18%, and the couples
non-complying with each other from the physiological viewpoint made up
10%. As regards the current situation in general, Nune Asryan pointed
out that agenesia is revealed among 330 mln people in the world
annually, consequently, about 1 mln people daily consult a doctor.
