‘Azerbaijan has agreed on the use of any road to Nagorno Karabakh by
Armenia’, Azerbaijan’s FM Elmar Mammadyarov said.
‘We are aware of the difficult state of Armenia. On the whole, we agree
on the use of any road by Armenia. They can use the reconstructed
Lachin road. It is necessary to deploy peacekeeping troops there in
terms of security. It is important both for Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Armenia has always raised this issue. The top priority for them is
the security of the Armenian community of Nagorno Karabakh”, said
the foreign minister at a news conference following the meeting with
Ukrainian FM Konstantin Grishenko.
