In round seven of the FIDE Grand Prix among men, taking place in
Russia’s Astrakhan, Armenia’s Grand Master Vladimir Hakobian again
lost: he went for classical lines of the Chigorin Defense in set
against Russia’s Evgeny Alekseev. Hakobian lost 0:1 to Alekseev.
