One of the most influential Azerbaijani dailies Yeni Musavat made a
scandalous assertion, reads Today’s Zaman press review.

The daily says that before signing Armenia-Turkey Protocols last
year, Azerbaijani Presideny Ilham Aliyev decided to launch a military
operation in Upper Karabakh, however Turkey’s National Intelligence
Organization (MIT) took certain measures and talked Aliyev out of
doing it.
