Nos amis de la diaspora greque rendent hommage aux victimes du
génocide de 1915. Le samedi 24 avril 1915, a Istamboul, capitale de l’empire ottoman,
600 notables arméniens sont assassinés sur ordre du gouvernement. C’est le début d’un génocide , le premier du XXe siècle. Il va
faire environ 1 500 000 de victimes dans la population arménienne de
l’empire turc. Le gouvernement turc a décidé de détruire tous les
Arméniens résidant en Turquie. Il faut mettre fin a leur existence,
aussi criminelles que soient les mesures a prendre. Il ne faut tenir

Genocidal Continuum

Genocide is not just an act of barbarity. As
crime against humanity, genocide is an inhumane measure. He
allows us to gauge the society in which it operates. He gives
in short, the sense of the absurd. Also fight for the recognition of
genocide is fighting against the absurd. We have to prove the obvious
in the manner of a demonstration through the absurd. You have to show
that victims are victims, in other words identify
their memory. It must be shown that the executioners are the executioners,
in other words trace their crime. It’s the sign of the times. And everything
this while remaining fair. Because the just must be exemplary. Obviously
all these constraints make this task extremely difficult and
we should not be surprised at the discouragement of some. The important thing is to understand that time is with us and that it
works for us. Because the crime is imprescriptible. Also the

we cannot be satisfied with this and we must consider
the problem of recognizing the genocide in a global manner. The

Nazi regime and the Young Turk regime appear as a
one and the same entity that systematically eliminates Jews and
the Armenians who are themselves unified as victims. In
this new field, a global vision is necessary to understand
the importance of the notion of genocide. The comparison no longer has
sense. The idea is elsewhere. We have a genocidal continuum that
encompasses associations and analogies. The executioners are only the succession of other executioners. Also
So where is the difference? In reality, there are none
