ARMENTEL NO LONGER CHARGES SUBSCRIBER FEE FOR ‘PACKAGE OF THREE SERVICES’

ArmInfo. ArmenTel (Beeline brand) no longer charges subscriber fee
for using the "Package of Three Services."

The company’s press release says that the pre-paid subscribers will be
exempted of the daily and the post- paid subscribers of the monthly
subscriber fee for MMS, GPRS-Internet and GPRS-WAP. "The number
of Beeline subscribers is growing in Armenia day-by-day. In fact,
demand for mobile Internet is growing as well. Considering this
upward trends and to favor our subscribers, we offer them to visit
web-sites, download music and other files, send graphics messages not
thinking of additional payment," says Igor Klimko, Director General
of ArmenTel CJSC.

GPRS-Internet and GPRS-WAP allow connecting the wide-web from
mobile phones, receiving and sending emails and making calls
without stopping Internet connection. MMS-service allows sending and
receiving large-size images, animation, audio files to mobile phones
and e-mails. Earlier the subscriber fee for the "Package of Three
Services" for pre-paid subscribers was 12AMD daily and for post-paid
subscribers – 360AMD monthly. The MMS and Internet traffic is charged
in conformity with the tariff plan of a subscriber. CJSC ArmenTel is
the subsidiary of VimpelCom OJSC.
