President Serzh Sargsyan signed a decree on awarding an Order of Honor
to French Armenian artist Hovhannes Mirijan Semerjyan (Jansem) for his
significant contribution to the reinforcement of the Armenian-French
cultural ties and on the occasion of his 90th birthday.
According to another presidential decree, cinematographer Tonino Guerra
was also awarded an Order of Honor for his great contribution to the
reinforcement of the Armenian-Italian cultural ties, his great role
in world cinematography and on the occasion of his 90th birthday.
