Armenian-Turkish Relations Don’t Exist: Armenian Sociologist

14:27 – 05.03.10

In sociologist Lyudmila Harutyunyan’s opinion, `those trivial
negotiations’ which are taking place between Armenia and Turkey today
cannot be called `relations.’

At a press conference today, Harutyunyan recalled Turkish Foreign
Minister Ahmet Davutoglu’s recent statements in which he said, `Turkey
can ratify the Protocols in three days: if, however, three months
later, a conflict breaks out in Karabakh and we are forced to close
the border…?’

In the sociologist’s opinion, `Armenian-Turkish relations have yet to
be created.’
