Today, at 2 P.M. local time on segment of Ani-Bagrevand railroad
stations, Shirak region a train of 10 cars derailed.
"South Caucasus Railways" CJSC Press Secretary Vahe Davtyan informed
NEWS.am, that 5 of them were millet cars, 1 — cistern and the others –
various commodities. No casualties were reported. A fact-finding group
is assigned that arrived at the scene. Quite possibly relevant works
will be carried out on the site within next two days. A task force
will study the accident causes, as well as its consequences," he said.
