Georgia is not interested in Armenia-Turkey reconciliation and
border’s opening, according to Armenian deputy and Javakhk Nation
Union chairman, Shirak Torosian.
"Armenia-Turkey border’s opening means that Georgia will lose its
monopoly position to Armenia in sense of road communications," he said.
"It the Armenia-Turkey border opens, we will have an alternative
road connection. So, Georgia has to re-set tariffs upon cargo. After
border’s opening, Armenian and foreign businessmen will wish to
ship goods not through Georgia, but through Turkey," stressed Shirak
Torosian.
