Any action on the Armenian-Turkish protocols will further aggravate
the situation in Turkey, says Hayk Demoyan, Director of the Armenian
Genocide Museum-Institute. According to his assessment, having failed
to meet its objectives in due time, Turkey is now attempting to create
a time pressure.

Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute says that none
of the superpowers supports any of Turkey’s statements. Therefore,
the Turkish side is somewhat disappointed.

According to Hayk Demoyan, Turkey was obviously disappointed by
the fact that its statements after the decision of the Armenian
Constitutional Court did not find support among the superpowers.

"First of all, Turkey and its allies understood that it’s impossible
to get any concession on Karabakh in the near future in case of any
pressure on the Armenian side," he said.

"Turkey is disappointed also because it believed that the process
would stagger and prevent the international recognition of the Armenian
Genocide," Hayk Demoyan noted.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
