RUSSIAN FM TO VISIT ARMENIA

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will pay a two-day visit to
Armenia January 13-14. Within the framework of the visit he will have
meetings with the President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, and Foreign
Minister Edward Nalbandian.

The focus will be the exchange of views on the continuation of
negotiations on a settlement in Nagorno Karabakh in the context of
mediation efforts undertaken by Russia to resolve the conflict.

Bilateral cooperation and the situation in the wider Caucasus are
also expected to be discussed.
