Germany calls on Ankara to ratify Protocols
12:14 / 01/08/2010In the course of his visit to Turkey, German Foreign
Minister Guido Westerwelle called on Ankara to ratify Armenia-Turkey
Protocols immediately.
According to Gercekgundem website, German Foreign Minister supported
Turkey’s membership to EU on behalf of his country at the joint press
conference with his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu. Westerwelle
also underlined that Turkey is a significant country for Germany.
Armenia-Turkey Protocols were signed October 10 in Zurich and should
be ratified by both countries’ parliaments.
