4 INJURED IN EXPLOSION AT MAP FACTORY IN ARMAVIR

An explosion, which resulted in the collapse of a wall, occurred at
one of the MAP CJSC factory buildings in the village of Lenughi in
Armavir province (marz) at around 6:45 pm yesterday.

The RA Ministry of Emergency Situations states that as a result of
the blast, injured factory workers Hermine Khachatryan (born 1979)
and Davit Abajyan (b. 1987) have been taken to hospital, while factory
workers Gor Abrahamyan (b. 1987) and Melik Hartenyan (b. 1988) have
been taken to Yerevan Burn Center.

According to doctors, Abrahamyan is in critical condition, while
Hartenyan’s condition is stable.
