USA flag A group of members of Muasir Musavat Party attempted to
picket outside the US embassy in Azerbaijan.
The party’s press service told. The picketers protested against
the allocation of $8 million by the U.S. Congress to the separatist
Nagorno Karabakh Republic.
The police prevented the picket and several members of the party were
taken to Nasimi district police office.
They gave explanation and were released.
