ANC: Ter-Petrosyan’s statements helped gain victory

Armenia, Levon Zurabyan, the Coordinator of the Central Office,
Armenian National Congress (ANC), told a press conference on December
4.
According to him, a new situation is only possible after the political
prisoners are released. Commenting on a statement made by Eduard
Sharmazanov, Secretary of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), that
in his interview with the Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper in 1992 the
then Armenian President Levon Ter-Petrosyan stated that
Nagorno-Karabakh should be granted autonomy in Azerbaijan., Zurabyan
said that only diplomatic documents are of importance for him.
