"Armenian-Turkish relations are discussed in Europe providing
opportunities to learn these countries’ position related to this
process," told journalists head of Heritage Parliamentary Faction,
Stepan Safaryan. In his opinion, European states welcome process
of normalization relations with Turkey, but "have no clear approach
or views on involvement in this process." And this indetermination
raises a number of issues.
"It is in Armenia’s interest Europe to express its position. In this
case, Armenia could smooth out the relations and move some issues to
European agenda."
