Armenia slashed cut diamond exports 67% year-on-year in
January-September to 60,875 carats, the Customs Service said.
The exports in value plummeted to $39.082 million, from $109.033
million a year previously.
The Customs Service said exports fell due to poor global market trends
and a drop in demand for diamonds.
Armenia reduced cut diamond exports 13.2% in 2008 to 212,000 carats.
