MEETING WITH POET GRIGOR MAZLUMIAN HELD IN PYATIGORSK

PYATIGORSK, AUGUST 28, NOYAN TAPAN – ARMENIANS TODAY. A meeting
with Sochi-based poet Grigor Mazlumian took place at Central Library
after M.

Gorky in the city of Pyatigorsk on August 12. The event was organized
by "Armenistika" Union of Lovers of World and National History
(Minvody), the Armenian National Cultural Council of Pyatigorsk,
and the library staff.

"Grigor Mazlumian is a wonderful person, an Armenian who grew up
in Russia, a successful official, and a sensitive poet who writes
about his long-suffering homeland, and the peoples of the Caucasus
and Russia," Armyanskaya Panorama paper of Armenians in Stavropol
and Terek wrote.

The rhythm of Grigor Mazlumian’s poems, their sincerity and emotional
richness, especially when these poems are recited by the author, a
winner of an all-Russian contest of reciters, capture the attention
of listeners and enchant them from the very first lines.
