In Jan-June 2009 output and sales of gas and gasiform fuel in Armenia
totalled $44 mln

ArmInfo. The National Statistical Service of Armenia told ArmInfo that
the output and sales of gas and gasiform fuel in Armenia in
January-June 2009 totalled 15.4 mln AMD, or $44.2 mln.

According to the source, in Jan-June 2009 the output and sales of gas
and gasiform fuel decreased by 9,8%.

To note, the "Gazprom" concern (Russia) has been delivering gas to
Armenia since 2006. It owns 80% of shares of AmRusgaspeom CJSC. The
rest 20% belongs to the Armenian Government.
