ARCA PLASTIC CARD CASH TRANSACTIONS IN AREXIMBANK-GAZPROMBANK GROUP PROCESSING NETWORK UP 2.7% FOR JULY

ArmInfo. ArCa plastic card cash transactions in the
Areximbank-Gazprombank Group processing network were up 2.7% for July
whereas the number of transactions grew 11.3%. Armenian Card CJSC
told ArmInfo ArCa plastic card transactions in the above processing
network totaled 21.7 million drams (1094 transactions, including
non-cash transactions).
Areximbank-Gazprombank Group processing system has been serving
ArCa cards as part of the agreement with Armenian Card since
April 2009. As of July 1 2009 the number of active plastic cards
served by Areximbank-Gazprombank Group processing network totaled
16075, including 90% (14480 cards) Visa International and 10% (1595
cards) MasterCard. The bank serves 37 ATMs (12 in regions and 25 in
Yerevan). Areximbank jointed VISA International in 2002, MasterCard
in 2005.
