NKR 11 parliamentary members, intellectuals, soldiers appealed to
the Armenian Ministry of Justice in connection with the Hatspanyan
question. The letter runs that the participant of the liberation
battle of Artsakh, Sargis Hatspanyan is condemned to 3, 5 years of
imprisonment and has been deprived from freedom for already 9 months.
For unknown reasons the amnesty did not apply to Hatspanyan. The
authors of the letter state that we should never forget what Hatspanyan
made for our homeland.
The authors state as well that Sargis Hatspanyan’s father is seriously
ill. The authors of the letter ask the Armenian Ministry of Justice
to treat this question from human point of view and to grant pardon
to Hatspanyan.
