NUMBER OF VIVACELL-MTS SUBSCRIBERS UP 37.3% FOR JUNE 2009 VERSUS JUNE 2008

ArmInfo. The number of Vivacell-MTS subscribers was up 37.3% for June
2009 versus June 2008, the company’s press release says. As compared
with late May 2009, the number of subscribers grew 0.3%. Total number
of subscribers of MTS Group for late June 2009 was 95.03 million
people increasing 9.3% as compared to June 2008. Comparing to late May,
the growth totaled 1.1%.
VivaCell-MTS is the subsidiary of the Mobile TeleSystems OJSC in
Armenia.
