At yesterday’s meeting, an unknown man attempted to commit suicide
through self-arson. The act which provoked a clash among demonstrators
was a sign of protest against Sassun Mikayelyan’s arrest. On June 22,
the first instance court of Kotayk region sentenced ANC activist to
8 years in prison.
