SARAJEVO, JUNE 22, NOYAN TAPAN. The 1st European Athletics Team
Championships were held in Sarajevo (Bosnia) on June 19-20. A member
of the Armenian team, 18-year-old Vardan Pahlevanian of Yerevan took
first place by jumping 7.82 metres.
